Lauren is the Founder and CEO of iVvy - one of Australia's leading software solution providers in hospitality and events. iVvy stands out as the world's first real-time booking engine for the hospitality industry, providing event organizers access to live availability of function space and group accommodation for corporate events, weddings, and functions.

Lauren's journey goes far beyond business success; it's a story of overcoming incredible adversity. Having faced family threats, deaths, and tragedies, she walked away from millions of dollars in funding and personal investment in South Africa and moved to Australia with her husband and two children in 2008. Despite these immense challenges, as well as being without money or local connections in her new home country, Lauren has built a thriving global business from the ground up, often referred to as, "The Wotif of the function space and event supply chain".

Turning 15 years old in 2024, iVvy's successful journey in a highly competitive global field is testament to Lauren's resilience, tenacity, leadership, business acumen and her incredible ability to pivot when faced with domestic and global catastrophes to keep the business not only existing, but growing.
